Now offering Acceptance & Commitment Therapy!
Discover 6 new skills that will put your life back in balance.
If you are feeling stressed, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) will provide you with tools to feel more balanced. Join one of our small groups or schedule a private session.
As women, we wear a lot of hats. Maybe the chaos of family life is taking its toll on you. Maybe you are feeling pressure from your job or college studies. Even the things we love, like friendship and church, can feel like a burden on our time and energy. After caring for everyone else, it is sometimes hard to find time to care for ourselves and invest in our own health. Maybe you feel like you're spending your life doing what you have to do, instead of enjoying each season as it comes along. You are not alone!
If you can relate to these scenarios, this class is for you! This small group is designed to nurture YOU and support YOU as you learn new tools that make life more doable.
This class is lead by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and incorporates the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You'll learn the basics of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). No matter what change you'd like to make, this class will provide you with support and practical steps that will get you moving in the right direction.

If you have a few ladies who would like to start a group together, we will come to your location. Some things are just better when you do them with people you care about, whether it's with your moms group, church group, book club or family. We will work with you to tailor a package and pricing that meets the needs of your specific group.
Combining the science of behavior therapy with the support of a small group.

Let's Get Started!
ACT Course - Part 1
Meets 1 hour per week for 4 weeks
Part 1 is designed for those who want to get a general understanding of ACT without a large time commitment. This course will help you to assess the areas of your life where applying ACT principles may bring you greater balance and enjoyment.
ACT Course - Part 2
Meets 2 hours per week for 7 weeks
Part 2 is designed for those who have completed part 1 and want to discover practical ways to apply ACT to situations in everyday life. This course takes the theory to the next level and makes it very practical. Are you unsure if you can spare 2 hours per week? Ask us about a modified schedule.
Parent Training & Support
Meets 3-6 hours per month
If you are the parent of a child with special needs, we understand that your responsibilities can be particularly stressful. If your child receives ABA services from us, parent training and support is included in your child's therapy program. During the intake and assessment process, we will design an ACT course that is tailored specifically to your needs. In addition to providing you with tools to manage your own stress and feel more balanced yourself, we will also show you how to use ACT to support your child's therapy program. Using ACT principles and traditional ABA techniques, we will empower you to help your child with social skills, communication, self-care and academic skills. We will also show you how to help your child manage his or her emotions more effectively and reduce inappropriate behaviors.
Pricing
Both part 1 and part 2 can be completed in a small group format or as private sessions. The small group format is more cost effective and provides additional support from peers, whereas private sessions provide greater flexibility with scheduling and the course can be tailored to your particular needs.
Group Session - $30 per hour
Private Session - $100 per hour
Introductory Class - Free
